Brothers have extended their unbeaten run with a hard-fought 36–26 victory over second-placed Norths in a blockbuster Round 15 clash at Crosby Park.

With first and second on the Hospital Cup ladder going head-to-head, Brothers wasted no time making a statement. Slick ball movement saw Ryan spark the opening attack before finding Harley, who combined beautifully with Urquhart as Brothers sliced through the Norths defence. A touch of razzle dazzle saw Urquhart dive over for the opening try, with Dalle Cort calmly adding the extras to hand Brothers an early 7-0 lead.

The home side continued to dominate possession and territory, turning pressure into points through their powerful forward pack. Fraser crashed over from a driving maul for Brothers' second try, with Dalle Cort once again converting to extend the advantage.

Not content with one, Fraser was back in the action soon after, crossing for his second of the afternoon after another relentless maul marched its way over the line. Brothers' set-piece dominance was proving too much for Norths to handle.

The points kept coming as another lineout opportunity presented itself. Latu produced a huge effort to power his way over for Brothers' fourth try of the afternoon, capping off another dominant attacking passage while still in the opening half.

Brothers weren't done there. A turnover deep in their own half sparked another dangerous attack, with the ball quickly shifted through the hands before Brothers crossed for their fifth try. Dalle Cort bounced back with another successful conversion, sending the Brethren into the halftime break in complete control with a commanding 31-0 lead.

The second half began just as brightly for Brothers. Harley produced another moment of class, delivering a superb ball through the hands to Fusitu'a, who finished brilliantly to stretch the lead to 36-0.

To their credit, Norths refused to go away. They finally broke through for their first points of the afternoon before building momentum with two more unanswered tries. Suddenly, what had looked like a comfortable afternoon turned into a genuine contest.

As Norths continued to pile on the pressure, Brothers were forced to dig deep defensively. The visitors crossed again late in the match, but the Brethren stood tall when it mattered most, refusing to surrender the lead they had built through an outstanding first-half performance.

When the full-time whistle sounded, Brothers had secured a 36-26 victory over their closest challengers. While the second half tested the home side's resilience, the result keeps Brothers undefeated through 15 rounds and builds even more excitement heading into their final home game of the regular season next weekend.
