BROTHERS RUGBY CLUB
An important message to the Brothers Rugby Club Community.
The Brothers Rugby Club offices are now closed. The board has made the extremely difficult decision to stand down all staff for the forseeable future. The only exception to this is club CEO Matt Kaye who will continue in a part time capacity. Matt will ensure all of our club’s financial, operational and communication tasks are continued while maintaining the club.
We will continue to provide the community with regular updates and encourage you to follow the federal government guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Brothers Rugby is saddened to announce the tragic passing of Brothers Junior Archie Gouldson who passed away on Sunday after being involved in a car accident. Archie is the son of well known club major sponsor Faran Gouldson. Archie was an outstanding young boy who had a bright future both on and off the rugby field. His peers held him in high regard and he always demonstrated the true values of Brothers. Faran has been a club sponsor for over 12 years and is one of the first to put his hand up to assist the club.
Played all his Junior Rugby for Brothers
Received his 10 year consecutive award in 2018
Captained u14 Gold to Premiership in 2017
Brothers Medal U13 Gold in 2016
A true leader of young men
The club is looking to honour Archie with a perpetual trophy to be presented at our annual Junior Trophy Day. Our thoughts are certainly with Faran, Prue and family in these very difficult times.
