Brothers have extended their unbeaten run, holding off a determined Easts outfit to claim a hard-fought 24–21 victory in a thrilling contest.

It was Brothers who struck first, with Brosnan launching himself over the line to open the scoring. Dalle Cort calmly added the extras to give the visitors an early 7–0 lead.

The pressure continued to build, and when Easts spilled the ball, Urquhart was quickest to react. Pouncing on the loose ball, he raced away untouched to score Brothers' second try of the afternoon. Dalle Cort remained perfect from the tee, stretching the lead to 14–0.

Easts refused to go away, capitalising on a penalty to work their way back into the contest with their opening try. They carried that momentum into the closing stages of the first half, crossing again and converting to level the scores at 14–14 heading into the sheds.

With everything to play for, Brothers emerged from the break with renewed intent. A huge defensive effort from Hemopo saw him charge down an Easts kick before gathering the loose ball to score a momentum-shifting try.

Dalle Cort again made no mistake with the conversion to restore Brothers' lead.
Shortly after, Brothers elected to take the points from a penalty, with Dalle Cort slotting the goal to edge the visitors further ahead.

Easts mounted one final challenge, crossing for another converted try to reduce the margin to just three points. With the pressure mounting and their unbeaten record on the line, Brothers were forced to dig deep in the closing minutes.

Their defence stood tall when it mattered most, repelling repeated Easts attacks before the full-time whistle confirmed a gritty 24–21 victory.

The win keeps Brothers' undefeated season alive, showcasing the resilience and composure that has become a trademark of this side as they continue their impressive campaign.
