Brothers Rugby Club has been rocked by the news of the sudden passing of current player Iosefo Bele Tabalala. Bells as he is more affectionately know passed away yesterday morning in Fiji where he had been playing with the Fiji Warriors in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge currently being played in Suva.
Bells passed away in his sleep, his team mates and medical staff tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
Bells joined the club in 2011 and made an immediate impact on th...e playing group, staff and supporters. Bells was employed at the club as a groundsman, always willing to do the hard work around the club or just cruise around on the mower.
His performances at Brothers were recognised by his selection in the Fiji Warriors team as he chased his ultimate dream of playing for Fiji.
A True Brothers Man, respected, humble and selfless Bells always put the club and others before himself. His smile was infectious and his quietly spoken demeanour showed the care and humility he had.
Brothers Rugby Club, players, members and supporters offers their deepest condolences to the Tabalala family at this time of loss.
Bells will always be apart of the Brothers Family and will be remembered by all.
Rest in Peace our Brother!
